Course content

Main patterns of inheritance, principles of genetic consulting, basic methods of investigation in genetics, genetic causes of sterility and infertility, methods of prenatal diagnosis. Ethical problems of medical genetics. Ethical and legal problems of clinical genetics.

Learning outcomes
|
Contents of subject are fundamentals of molecular biology and their applicacion in clinical medicine.
Following a completion of the course the student should know the main patterns of inheritance, principles of genetic consulting, basic methods of investigation in genetics, genetic causes of sterility and infertility and methods of prenatal diagnosis.
