Course content
Basic knowledge of didactics Methodology of nursing education Methodology of nursing process implementation in the pedagogical process Preparation and analysis of education topics in clinical conditions Keeping pedagogical documentation

Lecture, Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)

Learning outcomes
The course presents students with the knowledge of pedagogy and general didactics necessary for the work of a mentor of clinical practice. Students are acquainted with the system of professional training in the Czech Republic, with futher educational possibilities and legislative regulations. The course is designed both as theoretical and practical basis of general didactics and clinic didactics. Practical training and the application of knowledge in the work of a mentors is also part of the subject.
Students will be acquianted with the education of health care as a system; they will be able to identify the characteristics of its particular elements and the system itself as an open systém. Students will be acquainted with the structure and function of educational institutions as an organization. Students will be able to carry out a pedagogical practice in the conditions of clinical nursing care.
Prerequisites
Orientation in the basics of didactics and pedagogy, work with a professional practice diary and orientation in a portfolio of performance during professional clinical practice.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Student performance, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Dialog, Seminar Work

Active participation in teaching. The subject will be completed in writing in combination with the preparation of a seminar paper on the given topic (2-3 A4 standard pages).
