Course content
|
Non-verbal techniques as a part of a midwife' s practice. Non-verbal communication. Voice-therapy. Receptive music therapy. Music therapy and stress management- emphasis on puerperium. Relaxation techniques. Working with imagination. Aromatherapy and baby massages. Vibroacoustic massage.

Learning outcomes

Music therapy broadens the awareness of students about the alternative methods in in the care of clients using non verbal communication means and relaxation techniques.
Students will know the techniques of music therapy with different target groups, nonverbal and relax techniques.
