Course content |
Midwife will perform the following tasks: - Introducing a PVC + care for PVC - Providing intravenous therapy - Checking and evaluating KTG - Ward round assistance - Performing hygiene for a patient on a bed - Assisting in patient hygiene - Assistance in transfusion therapy - Checking physiological functions - Ensuring supplementary examinations (sampling of biological material, ultrasound examinations, counselling ...) - Assistance in additional individual examinations

The aim of the practical training is to prepare a midwife equipped with theoretical knowledge to practice the provision of highly specialized nursing care in midwifery for a woman with a high-risk and pathological course of pregnancy.
After completing practical training, the student will be able to provide a highly specialized nursing care in midwifery to a woman with a high-risk and pathological course of pregnancy. |

Student performance
100% participation in the whole range of practice, passing 200 hours according to the schedule. Writing a 10-page seminar paper related to the topic of the department. |
