Course content
|
The course covers the following topics: - irregularities during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period, - newborn resuscitation, - physiotherapy options. It runs as an intensive Winter School in Midwifery course, physically ad virtually. The virtual teaching totals 8 hours.

The aim of the course is to bring together students of bachelor's and master's programs from partner institutions of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Palacký University in Olomouc in order to improve and practice specialized professional skills in the field of irregularities and pathologies in pregnancy and puerperium. The aim is to deepen their knowledge, and gain professional competence in communicating in a foreign language.

Prerequisites
|
After completing the course, students will deepen their knowledge in selected thematic areas both theretically and practically, and improve their communication skills in the English language.
