Course content
During the first day, students will be introduced to basic principles of general practitioner's office principles.

Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Methods of Written Work, Observation
Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to introduce to students following: adult general practitioner's work, methodology of primary care, to show differences between nationals health care systems. The most attention is dedicated to general practitioner's work organization with focus to health care quality, ambulance management, health and social aspects, expert's opinions, dispenzarization, primary prevention including vaccination and law aspects of health care providing in settings of general practitioner's office.
After this course, the student will be able to examine the patient in a general practitioner's office, plan further necessary investigations, make a differential diagnosis with determining an ability to perform various activities, plan social and palliative care, and understand basic economic principles related to running a general practitioner's office.
Prerequisites
Obligatory practical training of 4th and 5th year completion.
IN3/VA012 and IN3/VA012 and CH1/VABP2 and PGY/VABP2

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

Attendance at seminars. Completed clinical training. Attendance 5 days of practice to GP office, preparation of case report. Full completion of the internship, submission of internship sheet + credit book to study department (garant of the subject will sign in the credits during 2nd half of August). Testing of practical skills will be carried out orally during giving the credit.
