Course content
Teaching and training: Clinical biochemistry, radiology. Basic information about diseases with acute conditions. Causes and mechanisms of acute conditions. Builiding of effective investigative algorithms (clinical, paraclinical). Determination working diagnosis (hypothesis). Basic treatment principles, practical skills in emergency and intensive care medicine. ALS, ATLS.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Observation, Demonstration, Projection (static, dynamic), Training in job and motor Skils, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
Acquaint students with the principles of emergency medicine. Teach students to behave rationally (examination, treatment and management) when confronted with acute conditions. Explain serious diseases, which can be the cause of acute conditions. Teaching will be realised with the help of simulator and extend of clinical biochemistry and radiology.
Managing of differential diagnosis and treatment of the diseases with acute conditions. Orientation and practical skills in acute conditions.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of internal diseases, radiology, microbiology and pharmacology.
