Course content

Sigmund Freud life and work. Basic psychoanalytic principles. The affect-trauma frame of reference. Trauma, repression and conversion. Early theory of the neurosis formation. Freud?s theory of psychosexual development. Oedipus complex. Perversions. Classifications of perversions, models of its development. . Topographic model of the mental apparatus. Primary and secondary processes interpretation of dreams. Freud?s concept of the narcissism Structural model of the human psyche. Superego Freud?s theories of anxiety. Freud?s close collaborators: Karl Abraham, Sandor Ferenczi.
