Course content
Self-awareness and self-knowledge as a path (foundation) to self-management - Definition of constructs - Self management and personality - Awareness of character strengths - Career anchors - Methods of self-knowledge (registration and analysis of own thinking, behaviour and actions, feedback from others, psychological diagnosis) Goal setting - Setting - Elaboration - Reflection Time-management - Time management methods - Methods of planning the day Emotional intelligence as a key to success in successful self-management - Characteristics of emotional intelligence - Emotional intelligence skills (perceiving emotions, using emotions, understanding emotions, managing emotions) Stress and working with stress - Mindfulness meditation - Using humour to manage stress

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Projection (static, dynamic), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge, skills and competences in the area of self-knowledge, self-awareness and self-management. Students should recognize which abilities, skills and competences they can develop and manage in themselves, given their professional focus, and learn to work actively with them
