Course content
|
Studying psychology at UP - study obligations and documents Study of psychology in general & possibilities of application Studying at a university - basic orientation in the academic sphere Department of Psychology FF UP: History, personnel, technical, temporal, spatial, literary, and teaching capacities Academic ethics, plagiarism, and an introduction to working with sources (including AI) and citation managers How to cite correctly + language culture in a professional text Working with electronic sources Tips for studying and mental hygiene Basics of first aid The course includes a block teaching of the first aid course, which takes place on a set day in the timetable.

Familiarization with the conditions and characteristics of psychology study, requirements and available resources.
- basic orientation in study requirements and basic documents - orientation in the STAG system and department/faculty websites - orientetion in the academic field and ethics -the ability to cite correctly and avoid plagiarism - basics of first aid provision

Student performance, Written exam
Class attendance + the basics of first aid are tested in a written exam.
