1. Definition of the subject, application opportunities, literature 2. Mental disability, dementia in children 3. Pervasive developmental disorders 4. Physical, sensory and combined disabilities in children 5. Family of a handicapped child 6. Chronically and terminally ill children; The issue of pain and its management in children; Psychological aspects of hospitalization of the child; Death in children 7. The issue of neglect, abuse and exploitation of children (sy CAN) 8. Basic psychological needs, psychological deprivation in infancy and possibilities of its reparation 9. Specific learning difficulties 10. Eating disorders in childhood and adolescence 11. Hyperkinetic disorders (ADHD, ADD) 12. Behavior disorders in children 13. Anxiety disorders in children

Learning outcomes
|
To acquaint students with psychic development and psychological aspects of education of children with special needs (handicap) or developmental disorders.
Orientation in problems of the development and education of children with disabilities, children with developmental disorders, children with chronic illness, abused and neglected children, as well as the psychological problems of deprivation.
