Learning outcomes
|
In Project management module (MPM) students in theoretical and practical way learn how to manage projects in accordance with standards of the International Project Management Association (IPMA). Project management deals with implementation and planning of the complex, usually single events (which may be a research project, preparation of thesis) that needs to be done in time and with set projected costs in order to achieve set objectives in the best possible quality. Introduced are basic software project management tools - MS Project, Easy Project. Part of the module is also dedicated for introduction about grant options (support for science and research) in the field of psychology, introduction of financial supports and preparation for the submission of grant applications in science and research.
The graduate obtains the following competencies: - Familiar with basic approaches and theories of project management - Knows and can use various tools of project management - Knows principles of project management IPMA - Understands the nature of project management - Knows the basic software tools to support project management and can be used - Is qualified of processing the basic design according to the principles of project management
