Course content
|
The course content is : - Tracing technical information, search strategy , identification of relevant sources , principles, journal databases and work with them , - Evaluating, selecting , cataloging and processing of identified sources , the use of identified relevant information in the form of paraphrases and quotes. Quote and paraphrase , references in the text , bibliographic citations. - Ethical and legal aspects of academic writing , normostrana , the development version of the text, proofreading. - The principles of academic writing , stylistics and requirements of formal and substantive editing of various types of written work at universities. Formal presentation of the different types of written work at universities using the PC and ICT. - Publishing in nursing , technical paper - making process , requirements for the structure , review and proofreading.

Learning outcomes
|
The course provides information regarding the tracing of technical information in the form of search activities , their evaluation , selection, cataloging and processing corresponding written scientific communication. The course introduces the principles of professional writing style as the requirements of formal and substantive treatment of various types of written work at universities and creation process of written work . The subject also includes an analysis of respect for ethical requirements in creating professional text and issue citations.
After completing the course , students will be able to: - Create a search query - Perform a search in specialized databases - Know the requirements for quotation according to CSN - Characterize expert scientific style - Use PC programs for creating written works - To understand the possibilities of publishing in the field
