The total scope of the subject is 26 hours, of which 10 are contact hours and 16 are non-contact hours. Main topics: Endoscopy and their importance in the provision of health care. Types of endoscopy, their indications and contraindications. Nursing care of the patient before endoscopic examination. Nursing care of the patient during endoscopic examination. Nursing care of the patient after endoscopic examination. Patient education in endoscopic examination methods.
