Course content
The total scope of the subject is 44 hours, of which 18 are contact hours and 26 are non-contact hours. Learning outcomes
The course is designed as a theoretical-practical and assumes the application of knowledge and skills acquired in other nursing and humanities subjects. Assumes a certain level of creativity. Directed students to the basics of critical scientific thinking: understanding the need for and importance of the scientific approach in nursing practice. They will learn the basic steps of the research process, selection of appropriate methods, processing and evaluation. Course content focuses on the implementation of the results of research activities and new knowledge in the field of nursing in clinical practice, and to promote the use of evidence-based practice. Encourages students to use standardized nursing terminology and acquaints them with literature and specialist periodicals. It focuses on the fulfillment of other aspects of the research role of nurse leadership or cooperation of research projects, participate in standards of nursing care and continuous lifelong learning.
Student is able to -describe the characteristics of nursing research -learn the basics of critical scientific thinking -implementation of the results of nursing research and new developments in the field into clinical practice -use the principles of evidence-based practice -respect the ethical principles of scientific work in nursing

The elaboration and defense of essay regarding the implementation of the results of nursing research and new knowledge in the field of nursing in clinical practice - the use of evidence based practice. Oral verification of knowledge.
