Learning outcomes
The subject introduces the basics of statistics and types of statistical methods applicable to research problems solved in the field of nursing. It provides an overview of empirical data processing methods using descriptive and inductive statistics, including data preparation for statistical analysis, statistical evaluation and presentation of the results of statistical methods. The data will be processed using the statistical program Microsoft Excel.
The student is able - describe basic statistical concepts - master the basics of critical scientific thinking -implementation of research results and new findings in the field into clinical practice -use the principles of evidence-based practice - respect the ethical principles of scientific work in healthcare
