Course content
|
The subject is designed as a combination of the student's independent work on writing a diploma thesis with consultations with the supervisor. It will provide students with practical skills in the following areas - preparation and writing of the theoretical part of the work; development of a current overview of findings on the subject of the final thesis, data collection, interpretation and analysis of the data obtained. It includes areas related to the preparation and implementation of the empirical part of the final thesis, data collection and preparation for analysis, the method of administration, training (training) of people, data collection itself, creating an environment in the program for quantitative or qualitative data processing and analysis, transcription and analysis of data ( descriptive statistics, frequency tables and histograms, types of frequencies, descriptive statistical characteristics of the basic and sample set; data sets, their creation and processing; descriptive and inductive statistics and their use in data processing; qualitative data analysis and interpretation of the obtained data).

Assessment methods and criteria

Preparation and implementation of the empirical part of the final thesis The student will be evaluated based on: - compliance with the instructions of the thesis supervisor, - the thesis supervisor evaluates the overall mastery of the chosen topic, work with professional literature and other documents, the independence of the student's work, the adequacy of the chosen methodology of the final thesis, the use of a research tool, the implementation of a pilot study, ethical aspects, the student's invention, the appropriate language culture.
