Course content
|
Nursing practice at departments of internal medicine, surgery and Home Care Agency (800 hours) according to the requirements of their home institution. The nursing practice is supervised by mentors. Students can apply and synthesize acquired theoretical knowledge in nursing care of a particular patient. Students learn to carry out nursing interventions. Students will improve in implementation and documentation of nursing process with particularities for given workplaces and patients.

Learning outcomes
|
Students will the workplace, the rules of occupational safety and health, with the workers of the given workplace, the work schedule of a nurse and specific examination and treatment procedures of the given workplace. Students are going to assist by perhaps even carry out nursing procedures under direct supervision of the mentors. Participation in ward rounds and examinations of patients. They are going to observe the work of specialists of other profession groups that participate in the treatment process of the patient.
Familiarization with the documentation and the nursing - diagnostic process carried out at the given workplace. Familiarization with the workplace.
