Main topics of the course: Children requiring special care (child with disability, socially maladapted, acutely, chronically, incurably ill) Daily and weekly hospitals (for children with combined disabilities, mental, physical and sensory disabilities, autism and autistic traits, the disabled, speech therapy disabilities and other disabilities) Children's centers - comprehensive and differentiated care Spa medical rehabilitation care - care for a child with a disability (visual, auditory, physical) International cooperation in child care (according to WHO, non-governmental organization in child care) Working with children in a medical facility

Learning outcomes
The course is designed as a theoretical and practical unit. It acquaints students with the specifics of care in facilities providing inpatient care in rehabilitation care or spa treatment rehabilitation care provided to children, where chronically ill or debilitated children are treated, in day and weekly in hospitals in social services facilities, which focus on comprehensive and differentiated care and in children's groups providing educational care.
After completing the internship, the student will be able to implement specific care in facilities providing inpatient care in rehabilitation care or spa treatment rehabilitation care provided to children, where chronically ill or debilitated children are treated, in daily and weekly hospitals in social services facilities, which focus on comprehensive and differentiated care and in children's groups providing educational care.
