Course content
Pathogenesis, diagnostics, treatments and prevention. Children orthopaedics. Surgical treatment and its complications. Rehabilitation. Orthopaedic instruments and implants.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Demonstration, Projection (static, dynamic)
Learning outcomes
To learn the basic pathogenesis, diagnostics, treatments and prevention of a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal diseases with special attention to evidence-based approach. The students get introduction into the diagnostic algorithms used for most frequent (important) orthopedic diseases. Colloquiums will include topics from orthopedics, prosthetics and orthotics. Basic types of musculoskeletal surgeries will be explained as well. Finally, the students will examine the patients in our departments and get to know basics about orthopedic instruments and implants.
Graduates will be able to apply obtained experiences during the course in everyday practice at physiotherapy departments and health resorts. They will be able to communicate with both the patients and other specialists, who take care on musculoskeletal diseases.
