- Structure of metallic, ceramic and plastic materials, methods of their production - Mechanical properties of constructional materials and their testing - Affecting of mechanical properties of materials - Composite materials - Measurement in mechanical manufacturing - Basic methods of processing of materials - cutting operation, shaping, shanking - Basic kinematics during mechanical treatment - Manufacturing of threads - Manufacturing of gear wheels - Welding and soldering of materials - Special technologies

Learning outcomes
Acquaint students with the structure of metal, ceramic and plastic materials, methods of manufacture, material, technology testing and processing of traditional materials.
The course focuses on the acquisition of the ability to apply knowledge. Lets apply the acquired knowledge in the field of technology and construction machinery components and devices.
