Learning activities and teaching methods
Laboratory Work
Learning outcomes
The course focuses on the experimental validation and demonstration of basic physical principles of optics. The aim of the course is to acquire basic experimental skills, learn how to use basic optical instruments and understand the methods used for the measurement of optical devices or to test the basic physical principles.
The aim of this course is to acquire basic skills in optical laboratory and familiarize with basic methods for measurement and work procedures with basic optical instruments. In this course students will acquire practical skills for experimental verification of basic physical principles and learn to independently use the basic optical measurent instruments and techniques used to manage the measurement of optical devices.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of geometrical and wave optics, knowledge of the design of simple optical devices such as magnifiers, telescope, microscope, etc.

Assessment methods and criteria
