Course content
|
The course significantly expands the educational skills acquired within the previous bachelor's study. The aim is to familiarize students with the specifics and organization of educational activities so that they are able to actively participate in the implementation and organization of further education events in healthcare, especially in optometry, and to carry out practical professional training of health care workers who focus mainly on eye care. As non-medical health care workers - optometrists (professional competence acquired on the basis of previous Bachelor's studies), students participate as teaching assistants at UP in the organization and implementation of practical exercises and seminars included in the study program of the Bachelor's degree in Optometry. Students also actively participate in the organization and implementation of events for the further education of health care workers organized by UP workplaces.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to develop the educational skills and experience of students based on cooperation and professional discussion with other students, primarily with students of the bachelor's degree in optometry as part of professional, practical teaching.
Professional knowledge and practical skills, including the ability to professionally educate students and other healthcare professionals in the field of primary vision care. The student should be able to provide professional advice, provide educational support, including discussion, for other students and other health professions.

Student performance
Edukační schopnosti získané v rámci předchozího bakalářského studia, aktivní zapojení do realizace a organizace akcí dalšího vzdělávání ve zdravotnictví, zejména v optometrii. Účast studentů v pozici asistentů pedagogů UP v rámci organizace a realizace praktických cvičení a seminářů zařazených do studijního programu bakalářského studia optometrie. Aktivní spoluúčast na organizaci a realizaci akcí pro další vzdělávání zdravotnických pracovníků, pořádaných pracovišti UP.
