Course content
|
Course content: Preparation of a master's thesis presentation. Presentation of aims, methodology and interim findings in English. Academic discussion and feedback. Consultation on thesis content, methodology and formal requirements. Study materials: thesis preparation guidelines, presentation guidance and academic literature relevant to the thesis topic and recommended by the supervisor.

Learning outcomes
|
Students will be able to deliver a structured presentation of their master's thesis aims, methodology and interim findings in English, justify their approach and respond to academic questions. They will apply principles of academic writing and ethics, critically evaluate their own work and use feedback to improve it.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge of optometry at bachelor's degree level, a basic understanding of research methodology, and the ability to work with academic literature. English language proficiency sufficient to prepare an academic presentation and participate in discussions. An assigned master's thesis topic.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Dialog
Regular attendance, completion of assigned tasks, consultations with the thesis supervisor, presentation of thesis progress in English and incorporation of feedback.
