Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarise students theoretically and practically with modern techniques of data collection, processing and evaluation in the field of the anterior segment of the eye with a special focus on the cornea, anterior chamber and tear film. Attention is also paid to changes and abnormalities of the anterior eye segment, including changes of the cornea after refractive surgery.
A subject focused on acquiring knowledge and practical skills. Describe the given methods and principles, know the applications. Be able to use the appropriate instruments and analyze the measurement results.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the eye and basic examination methods of the anterior segment at the level of a bachelor's degree in optometry.
