Course content
The content of the course is to familiarize students with the various methods of linguistic and literary research, as well as the presentation of research projects and partial student studies (oral and written) and detailed expert analysis and discussion of these works. As a result, the student will deepen his knowledge and skills in the field of presenting his own scientific work. Emphasis is on the following topics: - The basics of linguistic methodology - The basics of comparative literary research - The structure of scientific work, quoting and bibliographical references - Critical evaluation of scientific work - Layout of scientific work, electronic publishing - Editorial activity - Ethical issues related to publishing

Learning outcomes
Deepening of the knowledge and skills of students in the field of presenting their own scientific work at an appropriate level.
Better knowlegde of scientific methods and skills to present own research at an appriopriate level.
Prerequisites
Good knowledge of Dutch at the CEFR level C1 or C2. Regular presence.

Assessment methods and criteria
Essay, Student performance, Seminar Work

Three times per semester attendance in lessons, active participation in teaching. The student is expected to present the research plan or partly research in an oral and written form.
