Course content
During the summer semester is among others presented: an overview concerning the principles of usage of Dutch infinitives in the sentences with past tense, indefinite pronouns and numbers or creating diminutives in Dutch. Special attention is also being paid to the correct usage of the subordinate clauses, the forms of adjectives and participles. The issues discussed are practised with specific examples based primarily on the script Grammaticale en lexicale oefeningen van het Nederlands voor vertalers en tolken II, III.

Learning outcomes
This course builds upon the grammar course taught during the winter semester and further broadens both the theoretical and practical knowledge concerning Dutch grammar, as well as it improves students' vocabulary.
Deepening knowledge of Dutch grammar, improving vocabulary and practical language skills.
Prerequisites
Dutch language skills on the level B1 - CEFR, passing the Grammar 1 course (NIZ/2GRM1), being familiar with basic linguistic terms.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Student performance, Didactic Test

Carrying out homework tasks and other assignments systematically, being active during the seminars, taking interim tests, passing the final written test minimally with 60 % result.
