These norms are subsequently being rehearsed on specific examples. Main attention is during the winter semester being paid to the usage of letters for the sake of marking speech sounds especially in the words of Czech origin (e.g. writing i/y, ě, prepositions and prefixes s/z), rules for usage of capital letters, interpunction (direct speech, using comma's) and using abbreviations and measurements (including the writing and using of academic titles in the Czech language). There is also attention being paid to the most frequent mistakes when using the conditional clauses, pronouns and numerals. The students also get familiar with the actual handbooks dealing with the Czech language (available both in print and on the internet).
