Course content
|
The course is focused on the interactions between humans and the natural environment. It is an interdisciplinary area of study that applies knowledge from different scientific and social disciplines. The course deals with following topics: environmental history; basic of ecology; human population; atmosphere, global climate changes and air pollution; hydrosphere, water use and water protection; biodiversity and nature conservation; agriculture, soil protection and food production; physical resources and sustainable energy; environmental economics and environmental policy.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is critical understanding of selected environmental problems.
Discuss selected environmental problems nad relation between human beings and their environment.

General orientation in environmental issues, basic ekological definitions.
