The course builds on the course "Economics of Sustainable Development" and explores selected topics further, focusing on aspects of measurement and evaluation. lt is structured around approximately nine seminars dedicated to discussing relevant texts, which students are expected to read in advance. The aim of the course is to thoroughly analyze selected approaches and metrics not only from a technical perspective but primarily in terms of their conceptual and value-based foundations, including the subsequent interpretation of results and the practical use of indicators. The course also incorporates texts based on the instructors' research, offering students insights into specific methodological approaches, their applications, and potential challenges. Seminar topics can be adapted to reflect the focus of the enrolled students.
