Health and its social value. The importance of public health in the organization of healthcare and management of health care Health condition of population in he Czech Republic Changes in the health status during centuries; social impact of diseases. The main determinants of health, possibilities of their infuences, quality of life in elderly. Prevention, health insurance in the Czech Republic. Management of health care quality . Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to acquire basic knowledge of public health, health policy and health systems and to understand their importance for the management of health care institutions.
On completion of the course, the student is able to define conditions affecting the health of the population. He know the organization of healthcare providers and health insurance. He knows the international health promotion programs. Student will acquire knowledge of the Public Health´s basic charakteristics in The Czech Republic.
