Contents: 1.Basic concepts, development of management 2.Essence and approaches to managerial planning 3.Function of decision-making as the basis of a manager's work 4.Leadership in the context of management as a way of approach 5.Motivational theories, tools and their active use 6.Delegation and meetings 7.Managerial control 8.Human Resource Management 9.Teamwork 10.Self-management and time management tools The teaching methods used include: the basic methods are reproductive (testing, examination, repeating), problem interpretation methods and case studies, supplemented with information-receptive methods (interpretation, explanation, description), verbal and demonstration methods (presentation).

Learning outcomes
The course focuses on the specifics of management in the field of healthcare and modern approaches to its performance. The student acquires the basic theoretical and practical basis for the performance of a managerial function, as well as knowledge from the field of methods and techniques of managerial work, both at the level of interpersonal relations and in relation to the person himself. Special emphasis is placed on mastering basic managerial tools in the daily practice of a manager at various levels of healthcare organizations and also on approaching and practicing key management skills, assessing students' abilities and assumptions with selected diagnostic tests.
