TThe course focuses on the development of student's competences necessary for presenting results in written form in the form of scientific publications. The secondary aim of the course is to deepen knowledge, as deep knowledge is a prerequisite for quality scientific work. The course begins in the summer semester of the second year of study, when the student is expected to have already developed a certain level of professional skills and general competences that will enable him/her to produce a quality scientific publication. During each semester of the course, the student is required to select a suitable topic for a scientific publication in consultation with his/her supervisor and to consult continuously with his/her supervisor on the progress of the publication. After the approval of the developed publication, the student is obliged to offer it for publication. The minimum requirement for the successful completion of the course is the submission of the final form of the text for publication and the delivery of a confirmation of acceptance of the output for the review/editing process (from the editor of a professional journal or the editor of a collective publication). The choice of the publication output is up to the agreement between the student and the supervisor, however, the implementation of the course assumes that it will be a published research result according to the current R & D Methodology reported in RIV.
The student's ability to present the results of his/her research in written form in the form of prestigious scientific publications.
