Learning outcomes
Molecular biology is the scientific discipline that deals with the study of biological processes and their mutual functional relations at the molecular level. The principles and techniques are applied in various disciplines, such as genetic engineering.
After passing the course, the student should be able to: - Describe principles of molecular techniques and ways of their applications. - Name basic procedures and methods, including applications. - Characterize genetically modified organisms. - Prepare plant tissues and cells for genetic manipulations.
Prerequisites
Student should have basic knowledge of molecular biology
