Course content
|
The course is oriented to pathophysiology of adipose tissue as an endocrine organ and consequently on the diagnostic use of determination of individual adipokines both in adipose tissue and in circulatory system (concentration and expression of proteins).

Learning outcomes
|
The course is oriented to pathophysiology of adipose tissue as an endocrine organ and consequently on the diagnostic use of determination of individual adipokines both in adipose tissue and in circulatory system (concentration and expression of proteins).
After the course, students will possess necessary knowledge of pathophysiology of adipose tissue from endocrine aspect and as well as of possible use of adipokine determination for diagnostics of selected conditions and syndromes.
