The Foreign Language 1 exam is held orally, in the form of a public presentation (using powerpoint support). As part of the application for the foreign language exam, a resume (approximately 10 days before the exam date) of the presentation in the chosen foreign language in the range of 1 800 to 3 200 characters is submitted. Both the resume and the presentation are based on and draw (at least one-third) from sources published in the chosen foreign language.
