Course content
1. The position of the Czech language and literature in the education system (RVPZV), the individual components of the subject, their relationship and goals. 2. Methods, forms of work and exercises used in the language folder of the subject (with focus on morphology and syntax); 3. Spelling and structure at primary school, exercise, algorithms, motivation, assessment. 4. Methodological materials for the Czech language and literature (books and publishings, portals,    manuals, etc.). 5. Integrating components of the Czech language and literature at primary school.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Projection (static, dynamic)
  • Homework for Teaching - 6 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 4 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 4 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 22 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The seminar focuses on the problematic sections of the Czech language morphology and syntax, but also on new trends in teaching the Czech language in relation to the implementation of educational programs for elementary school (principle of communication, integration, etc.). Students are acquainted with, inter alia, new textbooks of Czech language and a range of motivational training.
After completing the course, students should be able to: - Know and use basic literature of the field; - Be familiar with RVPZV with an emphasis on educational area language and communication; - Orientate oneself on the current textbooks and educational documents; - Use the supporting teaching materials for teaching the Czech language and innovation; - Integrate curriculum three components of language teaching: grammar, style and literary education; - Use a variety of methods and forms of work and motivating exercise especially in morphology,   syntax (with an emphasis on spelling).
Prerequisites
The knowledge and skills of general didactics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Dialog, Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio, Seminar Work

90% participation in education. Ongoing performance of the tasks, such as: Presentation of the selected language curriculum in the field of morphology and syntax (especially využitám induction). Analysis and presentation of a chosen subject matter in the new Czech language textbooks for primary schools. Analysis of linguistic typology exercise in the Czech language textbooks in the field of morphology and syntax. Create a file motivational exercise of the grammar. Create a file of publications and tools in the field of didactics of the Czech language, focusing on mentioned areas.
