Course content
|
Seminar aimed at development of spoken discourse. Focus on literary pronunciation, use of sound aids of language, breath and voice , extra-language factors, practice of emphatic elocution. Making presentations and comments on them

Learning outcomes
|
Developing verbal spoken communication skills. Orthepy, prosody, respiration and phonation, extralinguistic factors, rhetorics. Students are recorded on dictaphone and video and recordings are analyzed.
Students know basic techniques of an oral expression, observe formal pronunciation, functionally use phonetic language means and nonverbal communication elements.
