The Curriculum for Pre-school Education, core competencies and educational areas. Expected outcomes and their achievement through literary texts. Readers' propedeutics, genre scale and the pre-reading and early-reader periods.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to introduce the students to the use of literary examples as a game developing body movements and core competencies of preschool age, i.e, the competency of learning, problem solving skills, communication skills, social and personal competence as well as civic activity.
Students will be able to select adequate methods for the interpretation of literary texts, to justify their choices and work with the examples to enable the developement of the core competencies of preschool age children, i.e. learning, problem solving skills, communication skills, personal and social competence and civic activity.
