Course content
Subject The Specifics of Modern Communication for Teachers focuses on new forms of communication taking place in the online environment. The subject deals with both synchronous and asynchronous communication. It focuses on verbal and non-verbal communication within the chat room (attention is paid to eg linguistics, acronyms and emoticons), as well as the issue of the so-called meme. The subject also focuses on commonly used communication tools - chats, video chat, VoIP, messengers and social networks (Facebook) as well as blogging and microblogging systems.

The aim of the course is to introduce students to key communication tools - social media, communication tools and resources that can be used in school practice.
