Learning outcomes
The course focuses on risky forms of communication in the online environment with a specific focus on primary school students and their teachers. It focuses on current risk phenomena, which include cyberbullying, cyberbullying, sexting, webcam trolling and other related phenomena. The discipline is based on the requirements of the Primary Prevention Strategy for Risk Behaviour of the Ministry of Education, the Methodological Recommendations of the Ministry of Education for General Primary Prevention and the requirements of the Framework Educational Programme for Primary Education. The aim of the course is primarily to introduce students to the current risks to which both students and their teachers (i.e. also students themselves) may be exposed in the online environment, as well as methods to minimize or completely suppress the risk in the school environment (prevention methods), it also focuses on basic procedures in the field of intervention (incident resolution), the legal framework associated with risky behaviour, etc. It also focuses on current scientific knowledge in this area, focusing on communication and its forms as well as on the psychosocial conditions that lead to the emergence of risky behaviour. The discipline is intended for all candidates who will work with children in the future - whether at the level of teacher, educator, leisure educator, OSPOD worker, police, etc.
