Course content
Education and training of an instructed theatrical viewer as part of the primary school curriculum. Drama and theater in the teaching of Czech language and literary education at elementary school. The notion, nature and essence of dramatic art in the context of the RVP ZV. Theater and young spectator, meaning of dramatic art and theater activities for the personality development of the pupil. Perception of dramatic art as part of teaching - preparation, realization, reflection. Transformations of relationship author - director - actor - viewer. Prerequisites and co-requisites Knowledge of work with dramatic text, with records of theater activities and other information sources as part of the competence of a Czech language teacher.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
After completing the course students should be able to: - define the content of drama and theater art teaching in the curriculum of elementary school; - Explain the specifics of teaching focused on the learning of drama and theater art in the Czech language and literary education; - to evaluate the importance of the theatrical art for the development of the personality of the elementary school pupil; - to analyze and interpret the dramatic text and to define its functions in the context of the needs and work of the primary school teacher; - Explain the peculiarities of the status of the drama in artistic creation and its discovery at elementary school; - to highlight the specifics of this type of art and work with dramatic text at elementary schools; - schedule a visit to theater performances as part of school and extra-curricular activities of elementary school pupils; - encourage the education of an educated viewer and foster a lasting interest in valuable artistic creation.
