Learning outcomes
After finishing this course students should be able to: - define historical and cultural significance of Olomouc as the second most important conservation area in Czechia, - name places of interest in Olomouc and its immediate surroundings, - demonstrate on a map of the cipty the most important places connected with history and culture of the city, - describe which places in Olomouc are associated with the stay of famous personalities, especially the ones from cultural sphere, - characterize the place of Palacký University and its units withing city structure, - estimate demands laid on excursion (event) manager during its organisation e.g. when preparing an excursion for pupils (basic school and high school pupils, aged 6 - 15), - summarize the benefits of this excursion for students' personal development, - summarize the knowledge gained during this excursion and write an essay expressing students' personal relation to Olomouc and evaluating this excursion.
