Course content
1st Definition of object definitions, characteristics of special, scientific and journalistic information. General procedure for obtaining information, technical support, digitized resources and the Internet 2nd Relevant and irrelevant information (intelligence games), active and passive information, communication channels, communication noise, psychological aspects of information retrieval. Ethical aspects of information gathering, regulatory standards are 3rd Journalistic sources of information, types and forms of journalistic information (written and audiovisual information and audiální). 4th Owned and mediated information. Actions designed to inform the public through the media, press meetings, briefing, discussion, promotional and commercial events 5th Social, political, cultural, scientific, economic elite as a source of information. Learning outcomes
The aim of course is to acquaint students with basic methods of obtaining, verifying and processing of journalistic information. Students learn in the seminars is grading methods, evaluation and adjustment information. Part of the course is to outline the history of printing (intelligence) agencies and the use of their outputs in the media environment. Attention is also devoted to the digitization of information products agency, audio sequences and video sequences and methods of treatment and recovery in the media.
Student will be familiar with the main ways of gaining, consulting, analysing and critically interpreting information and source material.

Credit Participation in seminars and lectures maximum possible absence: one lecture (2 lessons), the number of possible seminar absences is governed by the teacher's instructions Submission of seminar tasks by the set deadline (absence in the seminar does not excuse not to submit the task!) Successful elaboration of a practical seminar test, which tests the knowledge of resources and the ability of students to actively work with them
