Learning outcomes
The course provides orientation in basic concepts of political science. Sub-topics: Introduction to state power, democracy, the essence of the main political ideologies: liberalism, conservatism, communism, the issue of political processes and decision making, basic theories of international relations, human rights in today's world, basic guidelines and theories of contemporary environmentalism, and its ideology currently viewed.
Students will acquire skills of the course according to sylabus
Prerequisites
basic orientation in the area of poltics and political science

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

Credits will be awarded on the basis of written test. Colloquium: evaluation of theoretical knowledge by course topics
