Course content
1. Morphological and syntagmatical means their stylistic value 2. Word formation 3. Lexicology - systematics, lexical semantics 4. Lexicology - the layers of vocabulary according to the symptoms 5. Lexicology - expressiveness, multi-word names 6. Syntax - sentence structure, sentence patterns, their structure, specific sentences 7. Syntax - sentence 8. Syntax - testimony, notice the structure 9. Syntax - the current breakdown of sentence, the thematic construction of communication

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to show the operation of means of expression levels of selected language in the process of verbal communication. Will be monitored in relation to linguistic pragmatics of lexical issues, the morphology, syntax and syntagmatiky. The various levels of language resources will be placed in the context of the theory of verbal communication and writing style. Theoretical knowledge will be practiced in the journalistic texts.
The course has the added task of knowledge in the area of communication the value of expressive means lower levels of language, their use in texts. Strengthened the textual and stylistic competence of students, the ability to create texts in accordance with their copyright intentions.
Prerequisites
The course continuous on the discipline Introduction to the language and Contemporary Czech Language 1 (phonetics and phonology).

Written exam, Student performance

Credit: - Pragmatically oriented morphological, lexical, syntactic analysis of three texts from the current sphere, - Processing of the selected thesis topic - Classified test knowledge.
