Course content
1. Presentation and comparison of current television technology, the various functions in the production team 2. Screenwriting (points, technical) - construction reports, reports 3. Working with the camera - Introduction: rules for shooting (framing, camera movements) (examples) 4. Working with the camera - practice: recording and analysis of student learners footage 5. Work as a reporter on camera (stand-ups, interviews) + work with sound - introduction (examples) 6. Work as a reporter on camera + work with sound - Practice 7. Editing song - Introduction: the choice of shots, rules (the unity of direction of view, motion, rule-axis) (examples) 8. Editing song - practice: students work on the digital editing room and online analysis of their edited material 9. Post-production (use podkresové music, titles, illustrative images, visual effects, graphics, animations) (examples) 10. processing separate student task - turning short message 11. processing separate student task - editing and post short messages 12. presentation of a separate student assignment - designing a short report and subsequent discussions

Learning outcomes
Students in the course are leading to learn basic procedures and diagrams needed to implement the television news and current affairs programs. They learn to apply knowledge gained while working with a video camera. Become familiar with the basic categories of film footage and digital computer editing. Teaching is based on a simple analysis already carried out a broadcasted television news and reports. On the basis of this acquired knowledge and experience gradually learn to handle news and current issues into television contributions. At the end, each student will present their own short post pedagogue of his filming process as well.
Students will acquire practical and professional competences and routines that anable them to work independently in given area and the students will be prepared for the practical part of the final examination.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

Credit: the proper conclusion and granting credit to student to complete at least 2 / 3 workshops and provide partial fulfilled the tasks assigned during training. Students also submit a written script prepared by a technical contribution and TV news at the end of the semester then cast on the appropriate medium (VHS, DVD, miniDV) actual TV news post. Colloquium: point defense prepared scenarios and created intelligence post.
