Impact of media concentration and pluralism in the political discourse 6. Control / ownership of media distortions and political discourse 7. Ideology, hegemony 8. Media and public / public opinion, media and elections 9. Media and political socialization and participation in contemporary society 10. "Rhetoric" - the convergence / divergence of media and political discourse 11. New media, globalization of media and political discourse 12. Relationship between media and politics in the Czech republic.

The aim of discipline is to give attention to bindings of media and political discourse, and also highlight the wider political context of the operation of media institutions and the nature of media production.
Students will acquire skills of the course according to sylabus. |
