The course is a continuation of the previous part Critical Theory as a Key to Cultural Content 1 implemented in the ZS, in which the foundations of critical theory were discussed in relation to Marxist thought. In the second part, the notion of critical theory itself will be understood and presented more broadly and concepts and currents of thought based on the works of mainly non-Marxist authors, but related to the Frankfurt School's critical theory project, will be discussed, or seek inspiration from it. Emphasis is also placed on the application of the concepts discussed in the analysis of popular culture.
Students will become familiar with historical materialism as one of the current approaches to cultural phenomena. Students are familiar with the major terms and concepts of critical theory.

In order to receive credit, students will take a credit test with a pass rate of at least 70%. The oral exam will test the cumulative knowledge for both semesters.
