Course content
1) basic concepts of classical narratology. 2) narrative, description, argument 3) The definition of the subject cultural narratology 4) narrative nature of myth 5) The narrative construction of reality 6) The story and writing the history 7) - 9) using narrative in the news 10) narrative nature of identity and narrative as a means to reinforce male domination.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to outline the assumptions, basic concepts and analytical tools. Cultural narratology represents a step beyond the classical literary narratology towards general intermediary narratology. Studies of cognitive scientists suggest that the story is not just a product, but the principle of human thinking.
Acquisition of narratological concepts and their application in the analysis of a narrative.
